UPCYCLING HIDDEN WASTE

We aim to redefine waste as a resource.

We introduce an innovative technology to upcycle bottom ash to glass-ceramic materials, accelerating the adoption of waste valorization processes to create economic value for the construction industry.

Who are we?

Founded in 2023, we are a cleantech start-up created by scientists and engineers to address waste upcycling and promote circular material solutions.

Our focus is on repurposing Waste-to-Energy byproducts (bottom ashes) into glass-ceramic tiles for the construction industry. Out product is made from 100% recycled materials and is, therefore, fully recyclable.

With funding from the European Union and partnerships with incinerators in northern Italy, along with current R&D efforts at the University of Trento (Italy), we keep making significant progress in developing our proof-of-concept and product portfolio.

What is our focus?

Our focus and value lies in our capability to create a unique, sustainable product that meets environmental and industrial needs, reducing the use of virgin materials and offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional ceramic production methods, which are energy intensive.

We start from Bottom ashes, potentially harmful to the environment, we neutralize them through an innovative process, and we produce materials capable to pass quality tests and meet the EU standards for ceramic products, reducing disposal costs and environmental impact at the same time.

We envision to integrate a high quality design process, which incorporates sustainability into aesthetics, positioning ourselves as competitive providers on the market.
