Who we are?

Founded in 2023, Fenix Ceramics is a company created by scientists and engineers to tackle waste issues and promote circular material solutions.

Our focus is on repurposing the Waste-to-Energy byproducts (bottom ashes) into high-end glass-ceramic tiles for the construction sector, made from 100% recycled content and fully recyclable.

With funding from the European Union and partnerships with incinerators in northern Italy, along with R&D efforts based at the University of Trento, we’ve made significant progress in developing this solution.

Our Concept

The added value of Fenix Ceramics lies in its ability to create a unique product that meets environmental and industrial needs, reducing the use of virgin materials and offering a more eco-friendly alternative to traditional ceramic production methods.

Bottom ashes, which are potentially harmful to the environment, is neutralized through an innovative process, producing materials that pass quality tests and meet European standards for ceramic products, reducing disposal costs and environmental impact at the same time.

The project also aims to integrate a high quality design, which combines aesthetics and sustainability, positioning itself as an innovative and competitive solution on the market.
